MACANDREW ROAD SCHOOL

The choral concert to be given on Friday evening by the scholars of the Macandrew Road School should prove decidedly attractive to lovers of young people’s music. All the items will be presented by the choir of over 100 voices, and as the performance is under: the direction of Mr A. H. Robinson, who has more than a local reputation in connection with school music, its success should be assured. Humorous numbers, in which the scholars excel, will form a feature of the programme. Sketches and the revue arranged by the conductor, as well as the old-time fight and the debut of the big band, are eagerly awaited. The concert will be held in the Town Hall, South Dunedin, and, while only side seats are available, the comfort of patrons will, be assured.
