OR NORWOOD'S VISIT
Dr Fred W. Norwood; minister of«the City Temple Church, London, who will conduct inspirational meetings in the Town Hall, commencing next Saturday night, is recognised as one of the great voices of the century. Dr Norwood has been'persuaded to pay a visit to New Zealand, and has lately been drawing thousands of people in the main centres of Australia. He is a distinguished Christian leader and writer, and succeeded to the ministry of the City Temple, London, when Dr Fort Newton left for a new charge. No visitor to London can pass the great building in Holborn Viaduct without an inward thanksgiving for the long history of the spiritual forces centring in that historic church. It was here that Dr Joseph Parker ministered for thirty years, and where Dr R. J. Campbell’s ministry was' exercised. Every citizen interested in national and international' life should make a point of hearing the doctor.
