AUSTRALIAN WOOL SALES

YORKSHIRE COMMENT Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, June 12. (Received June 13, at 9 a.m.) The ‘ Yorkshire Post ’ says: “ The postponement of the Australian wool sales, which is momentarily assisting the market, does little to end the present uncertainties. Nevertheless, it reveals that the Australians will not be stampeded into sacrificing wool during a temporary market weakness. Accordingly, the present rates here are steadier than has been the case lately.” BRISBANE SALES. June 13. (Received Juno 13, at 11.45 a.m.) It is generally believed that the wool sales will not he held before August. There are more than 50,000 bales to be moved.
