Miss Batten will later visit Newcastle and Brisbane, and will sail for Auckland by the Monown i on July 22. VISIT TO CANBERRA. CANBERRA, June 13. (Received. June 13, at 11.15 a.m.) Miss Jean Batten, flying a Department of Civil Aviation plane, will arrive at Canberra on Friday from Melbourne. She will leave the same afternoon for Sydney.
