TRAGEDY IN INDIA FIFTY PEOPLE CRUSHED TO DEATH Pr«JS Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. CALCUTTA, June 12. (Received June 13, at 10 a.m.) Fifty people were crushed to death and scores were injured by tho_ collapse of a pilgrims’ hostel in the village of Raliata, near Ahmadnagar (Bombay). The weekly fair was being hold in the village when a heavy downpour drove many to shelter in the hostel, on which a big tree fell, wrecking the building.
