PILOT'S FORTUNATE ESCAPE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. PARIS, June 12. An airman named Knubala was towing the famous Austrian glider, Robert Krontield, near Limoges, when the aeroplane caught tire. Kronfield detached his machine and landed safely in a field. Koubala made a forced landing, and just managed to jump clear of the burning plane before it was completely destroyed.
