He said he believed that Australia and its ideals were now better known and appreciated throughout the East. His mission had been most successful. He was bringing back information which would be of great assistance to the Department of Trade and Commerce. The Commonwealth Government’s decision to establish trade commissioners in the East was wise, as future events would prove. '
