LETTER TO MR MACDONALD Frus Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, June 11. The ‘News-Chronicle’s’ Berlin correspondent says: “For forwarding a letter to Mr MacDonald containing malicious attacks on the Nazi Government, Herr Berghoff, a stamp dealer, and Frau Schmitz, the wife of an exsoldier, were sent to gaol for ten years and three months respectively. Frau Schmitz paid Berghoff Is 6d for a draft letter alleging that the Nazis unjustly treated her husband.
