BROKEN TAILSHAFT
THE GOLDEN COAST EN ROUTE TO NEW ZEALAND. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, June 11. A message has been received in Sydney that the American freighter Golden Coast broke her tail shaft 200 miles from San Francisco en route from Seattle to New Zealand with cargo. Coastguard cutters and tugs are proceeding to her assistance.
