CALL TQ MAN MAKURA UNANSWERED ■ [Pee United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, June 12. A call was made at 10 a.m. to-day for cooks and stewards to man the Makura, sailing for San Francisco at 3 p.m., but though cooks and stewards attended the call was not answered. Seamen and firemen were not engaged in the meantime. A meeting of the Cooks and Stewards’ Union is being held this afternoon.
