£l5O GUARAHTEE-NG RROAB' CASTING OR PRESS WORK ■ The agreement signed by members of. the Australian team for the Empire Games is as follows: I hereby agree to become a member of the Australian team selected to compete. at the British Empire Games, 1934, and to attend and compete at the said games at London on the following terms and conditions (1) I agree to depart from and return. to Australia under the sole control and management of the manager appointed by the Australian British Empire Games Association upon the dates and by the means of conveyance decided upon by the said association or the said manager. (2) 1 agree to remain under the con trol and management of the said manager in all respects from the date ol my departure, until my return to Australia, and to comply with all orders d) instructions given by him during that period. (3) 1 undertake to conduct myself in a proper manner and to exercise upbest endeavours to render myself fit for competition at the games, and .1 agree to forthwith return to Australia if at any time ordered to do so by the manager. (4) 1 undertake that during the said period 1 will not supply any information to the Press or for the purpose ol use in the Press either in writing or bj word of mouth, and that 1 will'not without the consent and .approval o) the manager permit the broadcasting of any remarks by me. (5) 1 undertake that I have not been guilty of any act or omission whereby I have become liable to be declared a professional, and that- I will not for a period of two years from the signing of this agreement be guilty of an j such act of omission. J .agree to execute a bond for the payment of £l5O to James S. W. Eye, as trustee for the Australian British Empire Games Association, in the event of a breach by me of any of the conditions or undertakings contained in this agreement.
