ST. KILDA CONCERT A very attractive programme was presented by Fraser’s Majestic Orchestra and Concert Party before a packed house at the Coronation Hall last evening, Mr F. Jones, M.P., acting as chairman. The items were as follow: 801 l solos, with band accompanist, Mr A. Fraser; song,-Miss Myra Murdock; violin solo, Mr Ivan Davidson; humorous item, Mr Berry; step dance, Trevor Phillips;. fclarinet solo, Tama Carreri; novelty item, Miss Maureen Phillipps; fancy dance, Misses P. and K. Eckhofli; saxophone solo, Mr Jas. Murray; dialogue, Ivan and Harold Davidson; violin solo, Mr N. Larkins; elocutionary item, Mr Berry; trumpet solo, Mr Murray j\i‘Dougall; song, with band accompaniment, Miss Murdoch. All the, items were well received by an appreciative audience, several of the artists having to respond to double encores. Mr Harry Rendall, stage manager, carried out his duties in a capable manner. The Chairman thanked all the performers who contributed to the success of the concert. The accompanists were Miss Phyllis Crooks and Miss Nada Phillips. A specially arranged programme will be presented next Sunday by Mr Ernest Drake and pupils.
