'the Nationalists claim that the gunboats on the Yangtse are bombarding Wuhan positions, ten miles ,east of Hankow, while they also claim that tho armies at Yanglo are within twenty miles. Meantime Hankow despatches at 2 p.m, to-day report that tho city is quiet and martial law has not even been declared. Shantung Nationalists claim the recapture of Lungkow. United Service.
