A GUIDE INJURED

RESCUE PARTY SENT OUT [Peb United Press Association.] HOKITIKA, March 3d. Guide Larsen, while crossing the Copeland Bass from the Hermitage, received injuries as a result of losing control while glissading a party which consisted of one lady and a second guide. Tho injured man was left at Douglas Rock after many hours of painful travelling. A rescue party was sent out from Karangarna, but is being handicapped by swollen creeks.
