GOOD TEMPLARY

The weekly meeting of the Hope of Dunedin Lodge, Mo. T r is, 1.0.G.T.. was held in the Good Templar Hall on .Wednesday. C.T. Bro. (j. South presided. Correspondence was read and received from Sister Trevelyan, Star of Wellington Lodge, No. ]2, Bro. Chapman, and D.C.T. Bro. Dickinson. Visitors during the evening included G.C.T. Bro. Dalton, Sister Symington (of Wellington), Sisters Williams and Baird (of Bescue Lodge), and several naval brethren of H.M.S. Dunedin. Two candidates wore initiated and welcomed—Bros. Webster and Fitzmaurice. Greetings were received from Bro. Drydcn, Bro. Wearing (from Star of Newtown Lodge, No. 24), and Bro. Pike (from Loyal Resolution Naval, A.Y., Scotland). Alter the business the following rendered items;—Solo, Bro. Gore; duet, Bros Fitzmaurice and Pike; recitation. Sister Williams; accordion solo, Bro. Raynor; humorous song, Bro. Pike; recitation, Bro. Harris; solo. Sister Webster. Supper was then handed round. Silver Star Juvenile Temple, No. 9, mot the same evening under Assistant Superintendent Sister F. Anthony. During the evening a hearty welcome was extended to several brethren from H.M S. Dunedin; also to G.C.T. Bro. Dalton and Sister Symington (of Wellington). During the evening some of the naval brethren entertained the juveniles, after which they provided them with sweets.
