A complimentary function to Air J. B, Grant, who has recently retired from the Fducation Board’s service, will be tendered to him to-morrow ('Tuesday) evening, 26tb hist., in the St. Kilda Coronation Hall. Brief speeches will he mad© by representatives of the School Committee, residents, and educational authorities, and an excellent musical programme has been arranged. Ex-teachers and scholars ol Musselburgh School arc specially invited. Admission is free to all, and it is expected that the hall will be crowded with those desirous of honouring Mr and Airs Grant in their retirement from active service.
