RIFLE SHOOTING
DUNEDIN DEFENCE CLUB V. GOODWOOD A very enjoyable and interesting match was filed on the Goodwood range on Saturday between teams from the Dunedin and Goodwood Defence Rifle Chibs. The conclii ions were: Ton men a side (eight highest scores (o count), seven shots and two optional sighters, each at .300 and 500 yards. The weather conditions were favourable, and some very creditable scores were pub up by both teams. The Dunedin Chib’s team was very hospitably entertained by the Goodwood Club. Victory rested with the Goodwood Chib by 3 points. The following arc tho scores: Goodwood.—
KIWI DEFENCE CLUB The Kiwi Rifle Club Dred tho second competition of No. 6 match on Saturday afternoon. The weather was fine, but a bead wind made conditions very putting at times. Tho outstanding score of the, day was made by Rifleman W. Mills with 16 at SOOydfi amt 47 at 600yds—a total of 93. which was an excellent effort. Conditions: Ten shots and optional sighter at 500 and 600 yards. Tho following were the scores: —A Grade.—
