LEGISLATOR SENTENCED NINE YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT. Frees Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. ' OTTAWA, March 22. (Received March 23, at 10.45 a,in.) Louis M. Augur, member of Parliament for Prescott (Ontario) was sentenced to-day to nine years in the penitentiary for a grave offence on a young girl. Augur, who is twenty-six years _of age, has resigned his seat. —Australian Press Association.
