THE HAHAU CASE FRESH DEVELOPMENTS. Press Association-By Telegraph—Copyright. PARIS, December 28. Developments continue in the ‘ Gazette du France ’ case, and two suicides have been attributed to the losses. Seven arrests have been made of persons who are alleged to be implicated. Tho latest arrest is that of Georges Anquctil, tho founder and director of the ‘ Larumeur Financial Journal,’ which was affiliated with the ‘Gazette du France,’ on a charge of swindling and breach of trust. Altogether the affair is assuming considerable proportions, and it will even possibly affect the composition of the Cabinet, through the connection of M. Dumay, the Minister of Agriculture, with the 1 Quotidian,’ which leased financial publicity to Madame Hanau’s concerns—Australian Press Association.
