The ‘ Daily Mail ’ regards the AngloChinese Treaty, the text of which was published'to-day, as a British diplomatic triumph restoring friendly relations and opening up great trade possibilities. Britain gives a lead to the world, being the first foreign Power to sign a treaty with the new Chinese Government.—United Service.
