The regimental note was sustained by the decoration of Captain Vcre Isliam, also of the Royal Scots- _ The colours are yellow and blue in this new happy bunting ground of beauty, and Captain Isbam gave a special formula for colours which suit types of womanhood, viz.; — “ For fair-haired, blue-eyed women green is the best background,” said Captain Isbam. “The brunette beauty is best set off by deep ivory. The redhaired woman should surround herself with bine, and the silver-haired woman should cling to black, like a shipwrecked mariner to a spar.”
