The’ ferry; steamer Maori- arrived at Lyttelton "from Wellington at 6.45 a.m. Passengers and, mails for the south connected .with the express.

Tho Opihi, which left Bluff at 4 p.m. yesterday for Dunedin was delayed by heavy weather, and is now due about 6 o’clock to-night. She is ■scheduled to sail on Monday for Lyttelton. The Waipiata is to leave Oauumi about midnight for Dunedin to discharge general cargo. The Kurow was to (cave Auckland to-day with general cargo for discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Manuka sailed yesterday afternoon for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Melbourne. ' -She is due in Dunedin again on January 17. The Federal liner Somerset, which went to Port Chalmers yesterday moving, is to sail to-morrow morning to continue her Homeward loading at Auckland. ‘ Tho S.S. and A. liner Tainm sailed from Lyttelton with a full cargo on December 22 for Southampton and Loudon via Panama. TREGENNA LEAVES HALIFAX. Tho Canadian National Steamships have received cabled advise that the Trcgenna left Halifax on December 22 with general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is expected at Auckland about January 24, and at Dunedin early in February. FEDERAL SAILINGS. The Federal liner Middlesex is expected to leave Liverpool on January 19 with cargo for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, and Iwnedim Tho Huntingdon is to sail from Liverpool ou February 10 to discharge general cargo at Auckland, ’Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. TRA NSHI I’M ENTS ON KAWATHU.
