SECOND BAY The weather was better for the second day of the Manawatu races. Tho track was in excellent order, and there was again a very satisfactory attendance. Results: — Kelvin Handicap, 200sovs. 1m and If.—3 Rory Mor (7.12) 1,2 Henna (8.13) 2, I Courageous (7.13) 3. All started. Heads separated the placed horses. Time, Imin 58sec. High-weight Handicap, 200sovs. Itiu. —2 Novar (10.9) 1, 3 Bonhommo (9.9) 2, 4 Thurnbell (10.5) 3. ♦Scratched: Decoy Bird. Won by threequarters of a length; neck. Time, 2mm lOsec. Highden Handicap, 200sovs, Cf.—7, Grand Acre (8.3) 1, 3 Monetize (8.1) 2, 11 Shrewd (7.10) 3. Won by a length. All started. Time, Imin 15sec.
