TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Otago tennis championships on the Anderson’s Bay courts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of next (voek are expected to draw a large entry, and some highly exciting and spectacular play may bo looked for. The standard in Otago has risen considerably of late years, and this tournament should he one of the best that has been held for some time past. There arc bound to be some visiting players taking part in this’tournament, and it is safe to reckon that there will be many brilliant and well-contested matches before the fixture is brought to a conclusion.
