A. lies, G.C., presiding in the absence of Bro, C. Wade, C.T., who attended later. There was a good attendance of members and also of visitors from the Rescue Lodge, No. 105, and Mope of Dunedin Lodge, No. 155. Fraternal and season’s greetings were received from a number ol sister lodges and heartily reciprocated. The item for the evening was entered into by quite a number of members in various costumes, even to the oldest member, Sister Mrs Campbell (nurse), with close on til years in the order to her credit. The honours were awarded to Sister Mrs Lnscomlio (granny) and Sister Mrs Raynor (New" Zealand made goods) respectively. During the evening items were rendered by the >1 lowing:—Sisters Mrs Smiley, Mrs Price, Mrs Osborne, Mrs Luscombe. nod Mrs Raynor, and Bros. G. Smiley ’nd F. lies The Chief Templar extended the season’s greeting to all picsent, and after an enjoyable supper the meeting was brought to a close by the singing ot 1 Ankl Lang Sync.’ The weekly meeting of the Rescue Lodge, 1.0.G.T., Noll 105, was held in the Oddfellows' Hall, King ltd ward street, on Christmas night, Bro. E. J. lies, P.C.T., presiding. The attendance was not so large as usual by reason of the holidays and weather. Quite a. number of greetings were received, nn.d the following members contributed to make a very pleasant evening:— Sisters Mrs Greig, Mrs Giles, V. Dray,E. Thomas Mrs Pauli, and T. Pnnil, Bros. W. Dickinson and IS. Giles. Supper was provided by thoughtful sisters, and was thoroughly enjoyed by all'.
