THE KAIKORAI BAND

The Kaikorai Band has .arranged to supply two programmes in the Botanical Gardens oh Christmas Day, as has been its custom in the past. Music in ■keeping with the season will be rendered. This band has always been a most popular combination, and its final appearance for the year should attract large gatherings at both concerts (afternoon and night). _ The afternoon’s programme appears in our advertising 'columns." ■ Special attention is drawn to the * Messiah ’, selection, The Choristers ’ valse cornet sold by Mr J. Parker, ‘ Star of Bethlehem,’ and thomarch ‘Dunedin,’ composed by the conductor, Mr Kirk Bnrnand, and played for the first time. A collection will be, taken at the gates to assist the baud in its efforts to secure funds to attend the champion baud contest at Wanganui.
