RAILWAY MISHAPS
NO LIVES LOST Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, December 23. During the height of the holiday traffic-yesterday to the Blue Mountains an engine and two carriages left the rails at Toongabbie. The passengers were hurled on top of one another, but none was injured, though several are _suffcring from shock. Another train on the. sanm lino crashed into the rear of a stationary train at Seven s .Hills. One carriage was badly smashed. Again nobody was injured. This accident whs the result of the disorganisation caused by the first • mishap. Eye-witnesses declare it is miraculous thflt 1 many were mot killed.—Australian Press Association.
