MOTOR CAR RECORD 13 BUSES FOR RAILWAYS DEPARTMENT [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, December 21. The number of new motor cars registered during November was 2,237, coi stituting a record for New Zealand. Only once previously lias the 2,00 U mark been exceeded, ami that was m December, 1925, when 2,134 cars were registered. The purchase,of thirteen new buses for use on the,Wcllingt6n-Petone-Hutt main road, representing, an approximate outlay of £26,000. is the immediate. programme of- the* Railways Bus Department.
