SCHEME BEING LAUNCHED IN ENGLAND Trees Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, LONDON, December 20. At the Mansion House meeting, Lord Derby presiding, a resolution was passed endorsing the “Comb to Britain” movement, organised under the auspices of the Overseas Trade Department. Lord Derby announced the foundation of a fund of £25,000. He said that Sir Philip Cunliffc-Lister (President of the Board of Trade) had promised an additional £5,000 annually on behalf of the Government, plus Ambassadorial and Consular co-operation.— Australian Press Association-United Service.
