ADDITIONAL POST FOB MB - TAVERNER COMMISSIONER OF STATE FORESTS to the ‘ Stab.’} WELLINGTON, December 19. Two positions wore left open when Sir Joseph Ward made the first announcement of his Cabinet—those of Minister in Charge of Tourist and Health Resorts mid Commissioner of State Forests. Sir seph Ward informs your correspondent that the latter department* is being placed under tho control of tho Hon. W. B. Taverner (Minister of Railways), and that the tourist portfolio will bo allocated in a few days.
