(Received December 19, at 10.10 a.m.) The Full Commonwealth Arbitration Court granted an application by the employers that the standard hours to bo worked in the timber industry bo forty-eight a week. The union bad sought for forty-four hours a week. Mr Justice Dethridge said that the industry was in such a bad way that it woulci bo unable to stand the further bnrdcn of shorter hours.
