INDUSTRIAL CO-OPERATION EMPLOYERS DESIRE PEACE (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, RUGBY, December 18. (Received December 19, at 10.30 a.m.) Practically all tho organisations of the employers have made their replies regarding the agreement readied between Lord Melcbett’s group of employers and the General Council of the Trades Union Congress to promote peace in industry. The employers, who arc in touch with the feelings of their colleagues in other industries, do not anticipate unqualified acceptance or rejection of all that is contained in the interim report. It is believed that in the main the replies will bo found to convey approval of tbe efforts made to ensure a measure of closer co-operation in industry, and the desire for joint consultation with the General Council of the Trades Union Congress. It is stated that the vast majority of employers have been far too interested in the matter to think of anything liko unqualified rejection. A preliminary conference of .gn officially representative character may he held early in tho now year.
