DUNEDIN WOOL SALES
FRIDAY THIS WEEK 2,000 BALES MORE THAN LAST YEAR. The first sales of the season by r the Dunedin Stock Agents and Moolbrokors’ Association will bo held on Friday next, commencing at 0 a.m. The order of selling and the quantities are as follow; — Bales.
The total offered at tho Christinas week sales hero last year was 20,648 bales, and 20(360 wer© sold under the hammer. The increase on tho present occasion is 2,016 bales. The catalogues to bo presented on Friday make a good showing in both half-bred and cross-bred, and tho wool is well grown, with a bit more condition than that of a year ago, there Laving been sufficient rain this season. To-day tho buyers wore very busy valuing. All ' concerned-growers, agents, and purchasers—are looking forward to an interesting series of sales that will considerably aid in further brightening the already bright financial outlook.
