OTAGO BOYS' HIGH V. CHRIST'S COLLEGE

FORMER'S DISASTROUS START [Special to the ‘ Stab.’] CHRISTCHURCH, December 15. The annual cricket match between Christ’s College and Otago Boys’ High School was played on the Christ’s College ground. The wicket was very sticky, and Otago was all out in the first innings for 38. R. Bean’s average was a remarkable one. He took six wickets for 6 runs, and Parsons three for 19. At one stage of the game Bean had taken two wickets for 4, and Parsons two for 10. College made a much better stand, though - the first few .wickets fell cheaply, the whole side making 213, of which Lumsden made 100, Appleby 47, and Tapley 36. Details:— OTAGO BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL.
