The junior match between the Otago and Southland primary schools’ teams was concluded at Invercargill. On Friday Otago had made 103 and 34 for two wickets, and Southland had been disposed of for 54. Otago’s second innings closed for 131 (Coles 21, Paul 16, Grace 21). Southland in the second innings made 68 (Henry 11, Nicholson 11, Grey 16). Bowling for Otago Holley took three wickets for 12 runs, Stevens one for 4, Galbraith three lor 11, and Kindley one for 5 ; and for Southland Fraser took two for 8 and Grace two for 17. Otago won by 112 runs.
