RIFLE SHOOTING

DUNEDIN DEFENCE CLUB The Dunedin Defence Eiflo Club shot the final competition for prizes presented by Mr R. M. Greenslade on Saturday afternoon. Shooting conditions were difficult. Following are the highest scores and aggregates:—

KIWI DEFENCE CLUB The above club fired the final shoot of No. 3 series on Saturday afternoon for prizes presented by Dr W. Evans and the club. The weather was fine, with a bright light and tricky fish-tail wind. Rifleman T. Jones, a veteran over sixty years of age. proved the winner. Rifleman P. Fennessy was a close second. Deputy-president Bruce won the B grade, and Rifleman Peterson was second. These were all popular wins. Scores :r----—A Grade.—

Rifleman Benfell, of the Dunedin Rifle Club, wins the range badge with a score of 249 points.
