ACTION BY LEAGUE PACIFIC SETTLEMENT URGED. Tress Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LUGANO, December 11. The League Council after a secretsession and acting on its own initiative, cabled to Bolivia and Paraguay reminding them that as signatories of ‘-the covenant they are pledged to seek a pacific settlement of. the dispute, and suggesting _ the suspension of military action until representatives of the two Governments had met and discussed the .situation. —Australian Press Association.
