“NOT FIT TO DRIVE”
TWO CHILDREN KHOCKED DOWH [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, March 1, “ This man is not fit to drive a car,” said Mr Salmon, S.M., when lining George Gillie, of Pet-one, £25, and prohibiting him from driving until March 31, 1930, on a charge of driving a motor car in a dangerous manner. A constable stated that two children had been struck by tho car and injured slightly. Witness considered that Gillie was drunk, but sobered up before reaching the station. Defendant stated that he had had only one drink.
