ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
INTERNAL INJURIES. Henry Sherborne, of Petone, Wellington, a builder, was knocked down by a motor car as he stepped off the Queen street pavement to board an Auckland tram car on Tuesday night, and was sent to the hospital with severe internal injuries. His condition is fairly serious. CONDITION OF VICTIMS. Susie Upton, a daughter of Mr P. T. Upton, who was injured in a motor car collision on Monday, is still in a very serious condition. Dr Marsack, who was injured in the same accident, is also in hospital. His condition is improving.— Auckland telegram. BODY IDENTIFIED. •The man found dead on the railway lino near the Mount Men station on Monday has been identified at Hayward Nathan Ncwdick. a resident of Glenmoro. MOTORIST’S DISASTROUS CAREER. James Doggett, aged thirteen, of Rangiora, was knocked down by a motor ear last evening while cycling, and was injured about the head. He was admitted to the hospital, but his condition is not serious. The car was driven by John Matthews. It hit an electric light pole and was wrecked beyond repair.—Christchurch P.A. telegram.
