YOUNGEST REAR-ADMIRAL
CAPTAIN EDWARD EVANS PROMOTED. ! LONDON, February 29. Captain Edward Evans has been promoted to rear-admiral. He is the youngest rear-admiral in the service, having been born in 188.1, and was the Navy’s youngest commander in 1912.
