ROTARY CONFERENCE

A BIS GATHERING [Per Ukitbd Press Association.] PALMERSTON N., February 20. For the first occasion on which the event has been hold outside the four centres, the rotary clubs of New Zealand met in annual conference at Palmerston North to-day. Tho fixture, which extends for four days, has brought many notable visitors, including Uotarians from Australia ami Honolulu.

This morning the delegates and their wives, numbering 300, were welcomed by the Palmerston North Rotary Club. Proceedings will be officially opened by the Hon. .1. A. Young this evening, and a civic reception will be accorded the visitors at Awapuni Racecourse, when the principal speakers will be the mayor and Mr J. A. Nash, M.P.
