LADIES' ATHLETIC CLUB

A committee meeting of the Dunedin Ladies’ Amateur Athletic Club was held Inst evening in the Y.W.C.A. rooms, when Miss Boss (president) presided. It was decided to hold the annual sports day on Saturday, March 24, on the Caledonian Grounds, the first event to start at 2 p.m. The programme will include both team and individual events for ladies. The following events were placed on the programme for men : 100yds handicap, I,oooyds handicap, one-mile relay race, and two-mile cycle handicap. Entries for these events close with Mr H. T. Emmarsou, sports secretary of the Otago Centre, on March 17. The entries for the ladies’ events close witli Miss W. Beardsley, care Tc Taumata Club, 299 Anderson’s Bay road.
