OTTAWA, February 28. (Received February 29, at 9.25 a.m.) Brigadier-general, A. E. .Ross, speaking in the House, called the Minister of Agriculture (Mr W. R. Motherwell) “the artful dodger of the Liberal Party,” because lie avoided dairymen’s meetings, where he would be asked about the Australian treaty.
