PRINCESS THEATRE

The presentation by the George_Wallace Revue Company at the Princess Theatre this week is a happy combination of vaudeville and revuo. There is plenty of fun, plenty of dancing and singing, and tho frocking is in good taste. ‘At the Cross Roads ’ is the title of the revue, in which George. AVallaee is ideally cast in the role of Prairie Pete. He is one who is particularly averse to doing any work and who faints at the sight of a shovel. His advent into a country village forms the basis of many ludicrously funny situations. Tho other members of the company are well cast in this delightful rural romance. Throughout George Wallace is well to the fore, but his appearance in ‘ Sally the Slavey ’ is one of In’s best efforts and very much to tho taste of vaudeville lovers. In the first half of the programme, which is devoted entirely to vaudeville numbers, every member of the clever, band lends a hand, and excellent entertainment is the result.
