On a judgment summons issued b.v tho Taieri Motor Garage for £3 2s 6d, R, Lockhart was ordered to pay forthwith, in default four days’ imprisonment. “ Ho generally disregards the judgments of the court,” it was stated of James Whelan, who was ordered to pay £4 11s lid forthwith to A. S. Higginfio.i, in default five days’ imprisonment. The motor bus claim and counterclaim case between Markham Motors, L !. (Mr W. L. Moore) and S. E. Clements (Mr J. S. Sinclair) was mentioned, and after hearing brief argument on a few points the Magistrate agreed to inspect a similar vehicle to the bus, the source of the dispute, at 11.30 a.m. on Wednesday.
