LATE THOMAS HARDY
PROPOSED MEMORIAL (British Official News.) Press Association—By Wireless—Copyright. RUGBY, February 27. (Received February 2-8, at noon.) A fund has been opened lor a memorial which is to take the form ol first the preservation of Thomas Hardy’s birthplace at Brockliampton, ; secondly an obelisk in the same neighborhood, and thirdly a Hardy memorial building in Dorchester, containing a collection of his works.
