NEW ZEALAND “BISLEY"
TO-DAY'S SHOOTING [Per United Press Association.] TRENTHAM, February 25. Trentham was favored with perfect shooting weather to-day. it was dull, but the light was all that could be desired. The vagaries of tbe breeze are affecting tbe Australians. Protected by tho bills, there are no air currents at the 200yds targets, making it difficult to allow for windage. Consequently shots are dropping at the second range. In the Marlborough Match (500yds), progress scores so far arc a good average. Holmes (Wanganui) registered the first possible, and more are expected under the conditions. APfvor (Petonc) is leading with an aggregate of 96, tbe nearest men being Holmes and Ching (Karori), and Carter (Teton e) 9-1. The short range matches will conclude on Monday morning, and will determine tb winner of tbe Trentham aggregate. MARLBOROUGH MATCH (ten shots at 300yds and 500yds).
