DAISY HALL RECITAL
Considerable interest is attached to the first appearance in Dunedin of Miss Daisy Hall since her return on a visit from Italy, where she studied singing for over two years. Miss Hall is a Dunedin girl, ami her fellow-townspeople may well be proud of her achievements, for she has been proclaimed in Italy, the country of song, as a finished artist in the Bel Canto school. Of her singing at a recent recital in ’Wellington the local critics wrote in the highest terms, and there appears to ho no doubt that Miss Hall is destined to reach a high place in the world of song. The recitnlat His Majesty’s Theatre on Monday, March 5, will afford Dunedin music-lovers the- only opportunity of hearing Miss Hall before she returns to Milan to fulfil engagement at La Scala Opera House. ■ The programme to bo submitted will comprise the choicest items in Miss Hall’s repetoiro, I and the occasion should indeed be a musical treat.
