Tho .soprano solo and the competition for boys under .seventeen (any instrument except the cornet) was decided this morning. Tho sopranos showed the usual good standard, Weld) (Queen Alexandra’s Own) just standing clear for an artistic rendering. Jn the boys’ section there was a remarkably tine trombone performance, ‘Crystal Palace.’ (by Wissner), K. G. Williams (Woolslon) being of outstanding characted. Williams is only fifteen. .Results ;
