In the House of Commons Mr Winston Churchill told questioners’ that he was not prepared to ask the United States to receive a part of Britain’s debt payments payments in kind. He did not favor obtaining power to prevent the raising of loans here for countries with a low standard of living. He was not greatly attracted by Viscount Sandon’s suggestion of a place for collecting boxes at the Post Offices, into which clients could place donations for the reduction of the National J)eh&
